We have heard of several sailboats anchoring in the bay (obviously by motoring in) and we know of many tour boats with up to 150 passengers that visit the bay daily. Our Garmin charts also show it as a recommended anchorage. The BioBay in La Parguera is also the only bio-lagoon where swimming and snorkeling are allowed. If there are indeed regulations, not many of the locals appear to be aware of them. We were told by several locals in town it was a must-see and to go check it out. If you have any info on current regulations, please let us know! P.S. we did row around most of the time inside the bay :)

We are new to sailing, been power boaters and last year made the switch. How did you learn to sail? We have put up our sails a few times but mostly working on the boat. Also I enjoy how you are doing all this with 2 dogs. We have a schnauzer that is 12 and I was afraid he wouldn’t want to go potty on the boat. How did you work that? Thanks for sharing,
