Okay, maybe they have a right to approach, but to make us turn around in an unsafe location is just bad. They live there and should know the dangers of that area, especially for sailboats with deeper drafts than their boat. They should have taken a look at our paperwork and waved goodbye. Oh well. If we ever go back we know what to expect.

Peter has been surfing all his life so he knows a ton about the swell and how waves break. We read the charts and found a good spot :) It’s amazing how fast we learn just getting out and living it.
