Neptune doesn’t appear to be bothered by us calling out our home port of San Diego, where the real Mary Christine is from. Our adventures at sea have been safe and actually very lucky over the past two years we’ve been on board. We appreciate the suggestion but our naming and registration was done long ago.

I imagine Neptune will not associate the boat name with a port where it was not named, and may not look favorably upon your renaming ceremony. Just suggesting.

Me and your dad had such a great time reading your blogs and the fabulous pictures. Looks like you and Peter are having a terrific time and becoming quite proficient at maintaining your boat. I am so happy you have made your first voyage what an amazing day, you both have worked so hard to get to this point and it is so beautiful to watch it unfold, thank you for sharing with us all. We hope to be able to see it all in person soon, what a perfect Thanksgiving you must have had on the water, we have much to be grateful for! Love you both and give the kids big hugs and kisses, glad to see they are acclimating to sea-life so well!
